Located on a beautiful 20-acre forested property in Severn Bridge, Pura Vida Soul Institute Inc. is truly a retreat and sanctuary for you from the stresses of daily living.
Research has shown that when we spend time in forests and nature our stress levels decrease and we feel greater connection to ourselves. That is why we feel our location is so perfect to supporting our mission in serving you.
The building of Pura Vida Soul Institute Inc. has been a labour of love built solely by our bare hands! Everything you see in the studio was completed by Jenn and Josh using as many local materials from the property as possible.
Pura Vida Soul Institute Inc. is proud to offer three very unique spaces for your practice:
Indoor Studio
Our indoor studio is large enough to hold a maximum of 15 people at one time. The lights in our studio always remain dim for the ultimate relaxation and our floors are all made of sustainable cork which offers and extra softness for the joints.
Outdoor Yoga Pavilion
The newest addition to our facilities is a beautiful outdoor yoga pavilion set within our forest and overlooking our pond. Just a few small steps from the main building, this screened in pavilion allows you to connect with nature while protecting you from the bugs. From this spot we have witness many blue herons, morning doves, deer, owl, squirrels, and chipmunks playing. The pavilion can also hold up to 12 people.
20-Acre Forest
From time-to-time we like to practice our yoga off-the-mat and into-the-world. Given that our studio is smack dab in the middle of a beautiful Muskokan forest we have many great places to get lost among the trees, climb the rocks, or move beside some babbling streams. We also use this space for outdoor events in both the summer and winter!
