Experience the beauty of our winter wonderland in Muskoka with this cozy 1-day Yoga retreat nestled in our magical forest. This 1-day retreat starts with a relaxed meditation to get you in the zone of zen before we head outside for an inspiring walk through the snow-dusted trees where we enjoy a Snowga yoga experience and some warm tea. Then we head back inside for some warmth! Treat yourself to a warm plant-based lunch that fills the soul followed by a gentle meditation and a Hot Stone Healing session. This day is designed to wipe those winter blues right out of your system and remind the heart of the warm summer days that will be arriving again soon.

Snowga Yoga Class & Forest Walk – Guests are encouraged to wear full snow gear including snowpants, boots, hats, and waterproof gloves for this class. Snow shoes are welcome but not necessary. We will be walking at a leisurely pace through the woods. The yoga class will be gentle, fun, and full of laughs.
Heart Warming Meditation – This gentle meditation will be held indoors in a nice cozy yoga studio. You will have blankets and pillows should you prefer to lie down for the meditation. We will be guided you through some breathing practices, guided visualizations, and meditation sequences that are designed to open and elevate the energy of your heart.
Hot Stone Healing Session – While you rest on your yoga mat with blankets and pillows, we will place warmed basalt lava stones on the body to provide a sense of warmth and weight during the session. This session is primarily silent and the stones are used to bring healing to the body and energy field. Guests should wear comfortable clothing for this session, cotton is recommended over spandex. Please avoid any zippers.
Retreat Leader: Jennifer Kavanagh
Jennifer Kavanagh is the owner and lead instructor at Pura Vida Soul Institute Inc. She has completed doctoral-level studies in burnout, stress, and contemplative healing practices that are used to inform the development of all of her workshops and retreats. Jennifer has also studied with many spiritual teachers and actively provides intuitive readings and healings to clients in order to reawaken their heart energy.

All retreats must be paid in full in order to reserve your spot. If you cancel for any reason with less than 2 months (60 Days) notice you will NOT receive a refund nor a credit. If you cancel with more than 2 months (61+ Days) notice you will receive a 50% refund. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please make sure you are able to attend a retreat before booking.
